If  a Studio Instrument synth is playing a pattern and the host application is looping, notes can sometimes stick.  This occurs because the pattern is retriggered before ending a note when the host time loops back.

The best way to avoid this is dragging the pattern into the song.  In this case, you will be relying on the looping functionality of the host application only and the appropriate “note off” messaged will be sent to the instrument.
